You have to be especially careful with a jet ski because it will suck that stuff up and you'll spend your vacation underneath it digging it out. Expect to be finding that stuff somewhere on your trailer a year later. They tend to have a lot of seaweed type stuff at the launch ramp-it can be pretty overwhelming and you have to really spend a lot of time getting it out of basically everywhere. They have staffing issues and you have to be patient and kind. They tend to be militant about masks and such. Cons-they're technically in CA, so expect the CA rules. The pool is clean and tends to be empty, if you aren't feeling like a lake day. Pros-ferry to take you to the fun places-it is cheap and fast rooms are very clean and somewhat modern (the air conditioner can be loud, depending upon your room-bring earplugs if needed), the lake view is stellar, especially at sunrise, the beach is sandy, comfortable, and close, the restaurant food (when they aren't having a staff issue) is EXCELLENT, you can launch and head right to the Gorge, and you can gamble a bit after a nice day on the water. This was our fourth or fifth stay at this location in the past two years and this will be our go-to from here out. We've stayed in Airbnb's, but that pricing is getting ridiculous. The hotels in Havasu are outdated, crowded, and overpriced.
